Spices, specified for your product and market.

Kayilan sources black pepper, cloves, cardamom, tamarind, turmeric and other regional spices from India, Sri Lanka and parts of Africa. We connect importers, food businesses and brands with supply options from established growing regions known for quality.

Our regional spice range

Spices from regions known for quality.

Our range includes the following spices, sourced with attention to their regional character, flavour and suitability for your product. We confirm the growing origin, product form and quality specification for each proposed supply, supported by samples and relevant documentation.

01

Black pepper

Whole peppercorns or ground black pepper. Specify growing origin, grade, grain or particle size and the flavour profile you need.

02

Cloves

Whole clove buds or ground cloves. Define the required origin, appearance, aroma and moisture specification, with a representative sample for comparison.

03

Cardamom

Identify the cardamom type and product form, together with size, colour, aroma and packaging requirements so samples can be compared against the same brief.

04

Tamarind

Describe the required form, seed content, flavour and intended application so the proposed tamarind can be assessed against your requirements.

05

Turmeric

Dried turmeric fingers or ground turmeric. Specify the origin, colour, intended use and any required compositional analysis and sample criteria.

06

Other regional spices

Ask about ginger, cumin and other regional spices. Share the product name, preferred origin, form and quality requirements; supply options are confirmed per enquiry.

Botanical identity and plant part matter: ginger and turmeric are rhizomes; cloves are unopened flower buds. A trading name can leave important details unresolved.

Assess the proposed lot

Connect the sample to the supply.

Request cultivation origin, processor details, lot identification and supporting analysis. The sample, specification and documents should refer to the proposed material. For repeat orders, agree a reference sample and acceptable variation.
